Now that I've gotten your attention- this article represents the kind of hard work that we are willing to do here at Lifestyle Magazine for you, our readers. With Christmas on its way, we set out to find a little gift for each of you- and if you continue to read- you will be rewarded.
Our little gift to our readers had to be special, because our readers are special. It had to be available in the Central Florida area, and it had to have something to do with chocolate (I added that one).
We tirelessly worked our way through chocolate treats all over Central Florida. I even skipped going to the gym in my quest to find the perfect treat...all for you. When my colleagues and I finally did our official taste test at The Amazing Brownie Co. at the Winter Springs Shopping Center, we knew that our quest for 'Amazing' was complete- and as easy as ABC- The Amazing Brownie Company.
The kind and generous benefactor of your gift is Tony Edwards, creator and proprietor of The Amazing Brownie Company. Considering that Tony has worked on perfecting this recipe for over 15 years, the taste truly is amazing. And that is how Tony decided to name his company. "Every time people would taste the brownies, the response was always, 'Amazing!' So when we named the company, 'Amazing' seemed appropriate," says the soft-spoken chef. Tony is one of those single-minded individuals who sincerely enjoys watching the smiles of pleasure that his taste treats bring to his customers.
That joy has been spread to the soldiers in Iraq through shipments sent from family members to our soldiers overseas. In a very different way Tony's brownies formed a 'wedding cake' for a famous jazz pianist at a celebrated wedding in New York City. We can share pride in the fact that these renowned brownies are created and baked right here every day.
There are now four basic brownies...and with due diligence I sampled all four. They are:
-The Original Amazing (with or without walnuts)- The culmination of 15 years of baking, this is a 'must' for any true chocolate lover.
- English Toffee Crunch- Has the same chocolate batter but with toffee mixed throughout the batter (and on top), adding to the chewy taste sensation.
-Colossal Caramel- You'll find caramel mixed throughout this brownie, making your 'chewy & gooey' a whole new taste sensation.
- White Chocolate- The newest member of the Family is lighter with a rich, buttery taste.
As stated, Tony is ready to ship anywhere. The shop is also a kind of coffee shop, offering everything from cappuccinos to ice cream. Unique gift baskets with a dozen or so of these taste sensations are available. One well-motivated company offers a gift basket of brownies to each salesperson who opens a new account. Now that is motivation.
